COMEDIAN Peter Kay has told how he was asked for a selfie - by a medic about to do a procedure on his willy.

The Phoenix Nights star said he was in hospital for an emergency operation to remove a "big" kidney stone when the awkward approach was made.

In his new memoir Peter Kay's Diary, the Bolton funnyman said it was when he was getting ready for the op that he was asked for a photo.
