Chasers are closing gap says Glasner

OLIVER GLASNER is confident Crystal Palace and the rest of the chasing pack are closing the gap on the Premier League's big guns.

FA Cup winners Palace welcome Fabian Hurzeler's Brighton today with both clubs inside the top half along with early season high-fliers Bournemouth and Sunderland.

While Palace finally ended their wait for a major honour last season to qualify for Europe, Brighton finished a lofty eighth in the table - just eight points off the top four.

And Glasner thinks the gulf between Palace and the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea is only getting smaller.
