FALLEN ANGEL showed them no mercy to rack up a Group One hat-trick in Newmarket's BetMGM Sun Chariot Stakes.

Seeking to make all the running in the one-mile test, James Doyle's mount, successful in Deauville's Prix Rothschild and the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown on her previous two starts, faced a stern challenge from the strong-travelling Blue Bolt entering the Dip a furlong and a half from the finish.

But the 11-4 second favourite, also a Group 1 winner at two and three, found reserves on the climb to the winning post for a two and a two-and-aquarter-length supremacy.
