New Bhoy thrilled to join 'dominant' Celts
MICHEL-ANGE BALIKWISHA is a Celtic player at last - and has told his new fans he joined the club because they “dominate the league”.
Brendan Rodgers has been clear all window he wanted reinforcements in the final third and long-term target Balikwisha has finally arrived from Royal Antwerp on a five-year deal.
Over the weekend he said an emotional goodbye to Antwerp fans before jetting off to Glasgow to put the finishing touches on his move. And now the deal, believed to be in the region of £4.5million, has been rubber-stamped, he had a message for the Celtic fans as he targets a fast start in green and white against Rangers this weekend.
Balikwisha said: "For me, it's the right move because it's a big club, they play well and they dominate the league.
