West warned: 'War on terror' not over

Countries must remain vigilant

WESTERN governments must not allow their focus to waver after two decades of the war on terror, an intelligence report warned.

It said the likes of al-Qaeda and Islamic State are still going strong and intend to commit murders.

The report added that the threat from lone wolves and groups of extremists has evolved and remains a massive danger to Western nations including the UK.
