Headteacher says school mourning death of much-loved 11-year-old
TRIBUTES were paid yesterday to a an 11-year-old girl whose death is being linked to suspected drug taking.
Olivia Curley, 11, died at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow on Monday after taking unwell at her family home in Helensburgh, near Dumbarton.
The youngster was an S1 pupil at Hermitage Academy in the town and headteacher Douglas Morgan last night said her death was a huge loss to pupils and colleagues.
He said: “Olivia was a much-loved member of our school community and an important part of the P7 group at Hermitage Primary, who recently joined us at Hermitage Academy.
