Vessel's bridge and spy gear blown up in raid at Russian port

UKRAINIAN spies and elite troops have crippled a £60million Russian “spy ship" in the latest blow to the Kremlin's military.

Kyiv’s military intelligence said special forces had hit and disabled the Black Sea Fleet warship in a high-explosive drone attack, smashing its bridge and surveillance equipment.

They targeted the Project MPSVO7 multipurpose support vessel off the Black Sea Russian port of Novorossiysk.

Usually the ship specialises in salvage work but it is believed it was using sonar and surveillance equipment to spy on potential Ukraine attacks.
