INFERNO Block of flats after blaze

A MAN and a woman have died after a fire broke out at a block of flats.

Emergency crews raced to Hughenden Lane in Hyndland, Glasgow, at about 10.20pm on Monday following reports of a blaze.

Eight Scottish Fire and Rescue Service appliances and a high-reach vehicle battled the fire.

Two trauma teams and a paramedic response unit were also dispatched to the scene.
