Trump set to act if protesters executed today

Activists warn detained demonstrators could soon be executed by hanging.

Trump said: “If they do such a thing, we will take very strong action.”

He continued: “We'll see how that works out for them. It's not going to work out good.”

Last night, he said the White House had been notified that “the killing in Iran” had stopped “and there's no plan for executions”.

However, he reiterated he would be watching Iran closely, saying: “If it happens, we'll all be very upset.”
