Not hard for Jens to hold on to star striker Maswanhise with so much still to play for at Fir Park

MOTHERWELL manager Jens Berthel Askou insists it was “easy” to hold on to Tawanda Maswanhise in the transfer window - despite “extreme" interest.

The Steelmen rejected offers for the Premierships top scorer, including some that came in close to the transfer deadline.

The 23-year-old attracted a number of clubs after scoring 19 goals so far this season including a spectacular strike for Zimbabwe during the Africa Cup of Nations.
