Robertson tasked with review of UK defence

LORD Robertson of Port Ellen has been put in charge of a review into the UK’s defence.
-
The former Nato secretary general will aim to balance the requirements for stronger national security with “sound public finances”.
The move came as Defence Secretary John Healey toured the headquarters of Joint Forces Command in Northwood, north-west London, on Monday, where he met army personnel.
