Remove 'greedy' dame's peerage

A LABOUR peer has called for the "greedy and monstrous" Mone to have her peerage taken away over the PPE Medpro scandal.

George Foulkes said no peerage had been removed in over 100 years - but that Mone had caused so much anger the measure would be justified.

A peerage can only be removed by an Act of Parliament and the most recent law passed was in 1917.

Mone was made a peer by the then Tory prime minister, David Cameron, in 2015.
