Boost for families as energy bills fall £117
ENERGY bills for almost all households will fall from April, but remain nearly £600 above 2021 levels.
Regulator Ofgem announced its price cap will drop £117 to £1641 a year for the average household using both electricity and gas and paying by direct debit.
The biggest reason for the fall is Chancellor Rachel Reeves' £150 cut to bills announced in the last Budget.
