A DEVASTATED mum has told how her "real-life Superman" son died at just one year old from a heart condition.

Lauren Zing was told during her pregnancy that her son Jayden was unlikely to survive birth after scans revealed severe medical problems.

But he was born alive in July 2024, despite multiple heart defects.

He also suffered an intestinal "malrotation", meaning his organs were on the wrong side of his body.

Jayden later suffered a hypoxic brain injury following a failed stent surgery at a week old and doctors warned.

Lauren he would never walk, talk, eat or sit up as a result.
