MINISTER QUIT OVER DEATH THREAT

FORMER SNP drugs minister Elena Whitham quit after a “credible” death threat against her.
Whitham announced last year she was walking away from office due to PTSD and will leave Holyrood altogether next year.
Whitham said both her life and the lives of her staff were at risk as a result of the threat, for which a man was convicted.
