MARCUS FRASER is comfortable playing a leading role with Saints after being forced to jump through Hoops as a kid.
Stephen Robinson has made the St Mirren stalwart vice captain for the coming campaign with the 29-year-old now one of the more senior members of the squad.
It didn’t seem so long ago Fraser was a fresh-faced kid making the breakthrough at Celtic.
But the defender admitted the Lennoxtown experience has sold him in good stead now he has become one of the main men young players look up to.
Fraser said: “Nothing has really changed for me, that’s just how I go about my day-to-day business.
