Celtic are already missing Jota long-term but Forrest said: “We have a squad full of international players, players that have been there and done it.
“It’s good for the manager that he knows he's got players there to cover for guys that are out.
“It's not an excuse. Every team, every manager will have problems throughout the season. It's just unlucky for us we've got a couple out now.
“Obviously every game is massive for Celtic but we know it's on the line on Sunday. We're just going to need to work hard and get through this tough period.”
Forrest admits the Hoops squad are gutted for their stricken pals. He said:
“Everybody knows the worst part of football is getting injured, especially a long-term injury as well.
