RAGING Rangers captain James Tavernier ripped into the “disgraceful” display in Norway that wrecked Ibrox boss Danny Rohl's first day in his new gig.

But the seething skipper admits it’s not the German gaffer's job to find the heart and desire within the shambolic Light Blues squad he’s inherited from Russell Martin.

Instead, Tavernier insists every one of his teammates must take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask if they're really doing enough on the park for the Ibrox cause.

The simple answer right now is they were nowhere near it in their battering in Bergen.

The Bergen fans mercilessly rubbed Rangers’ faces in it as they chanted “You're f***ing sh**e’ after firing home their third of the night.

And Tavernier wasn't in the mood to argue as the English defender said: “It’s just a disgraceful performance, it's as simple as that.

“In all the years I've been here, you know, with the consistency of poor performance that we're putting in, I've not experienced it before.

“Some of us show our aggression after the games, after we get beaten. You expect all the lads to take that in.

“But individually, we all have to look at ourselves much, much harder because it’s not good enough.
