JIM GOODWIN has challenged his Dundee United team to go and end Hearts' unbeaten Premiership run tomorrow.

The Jambos have raced into a nine-point lead at the top of the table after coming through the first quarter of the term unbeaten.

Derek McInnes' side have won nine and drawn two but Goodwin is looking to go to Tynecastle and put a first league defeat on the board. The Tannadice gaffer said: "Nobody's been able to beat them.

"But that run has to come to an end at some point. We've got to believe we're capable of doing it."

Goodwin also ramped up the psychology ahead of the game, insisting the heat is now all on Hearts now they are out in front.

The Irishman said: "There's definitely a bit of pressure on them now to maintain it because people are talking about them as genuine title contenders.

"Nobody has managed to break the Old Firm's dominance for the last 40 years.
