Goal ace Max says Europe is a big draw

MAX WATTERS admits signing up for Dundee United's European magical mystery tour has ticked a box on his career bucket list.

The striker's arrival on loan from Barnsley last month coincided with the Terrors' Conference League qualifying campaign, which will continue against Rapid Vienna at the Allianz Stadium on Thursday. Having overcome Luxembourg side UNA Strassen last midweek, the first leg of a third-round qualifier in Austria is another test to be savoured by the 26-year-old who is heading into uncharted territory.

He said: "I've never played in Europe, so it's exciting to travel and play against new teams in different countries.

"It will be a really good experience. Rapid Vienna are a good side but so are we.

"We're going there determined to do what we can to get the win.
