James Bulger mum's warning to vandals who smashed grave

JAMES Bulger’s mum has warned vandals who targeted the murdered toddler's grave that there is nowhere to hide.

Devastated Denise Fergus said two cherubs on his headstone had been “smashed to pieces”.

A dog walker raised the alarm after seeing the damage in Kirkdale Cemetery, Liverpool.

Denise said: “My message to the despicable, evil person who destroyed my baby’s grave is, 'I will find you, you will be caught, you will face justice. I'll never give up”

She said it has ruined her family’s “sacred day” at the grave on March 16, when they gather to mark James' birthday.

She added: “It is truly the most devastating thing to happen to our most sacred of places. My heart sank when I saw the state of it.
