Higgins on high to lead tartan four into last 16

ALL-TIME great John Higgins set up a four-timer on a successful day for the Scottish contingent at the International Championship in Nanjing.

It was one to savour for Scots fans as four-time world champion Higgins, Stephen Maguire, Anthony McGill and Scott Donaldson booked their spots in today’s last 16.

Higgins, 50, has been inspired in east China by evergreen football manager Martin O’Neill - at 73 - returning to manage his beloved Celtic.
