Cut-price surplus grub to tackle food poverty

GREGGS has opened a new discount store in a bid to help reduce food poverty and social isolation across the UK.

The bakery's Outlet shop in Edinburgh will sell surplus food, with shoppers able to get a range of bakes, baguettes and sweets at a discount. On top of this, a share of the profits will be given to local charities via The Greggs Foundation.
