Mother-of-three's lawyer speaks about impact of sickening case
THE family of multiple rape victim Gisele Pelicot have been ripped apart by the crimes of her sex attacker husband, her lawyer says.
Gisele, 72, was surrounded by her three children when she first appeared as the main prosecution witness at the trial of Dominique Pelicot, also 72.
From 2011 to 2020, the Frenchman drugged his wife then invited scores of men to rape her. By the time he was convicted of aggravated rape and jailed for 20 years last month, there was a family rift.
