Forrest has a field day with her nap hand

LISA FORREST netted five goals as Glasgow City thumped Hamilton Accies 7-0 to protect their four-point cushion at the top of the SWPL.

Accies, without a point so far this season, trailed by only an early Forrest penalty at the break.

But the roof caved in during the second period with Forrest scoring four more while Louisa Boyes and Abi Harrison also got on the scoresheet.

City boss Leanne Ross said: “You can't grumble when you come off the pitch with a 7-0 win.

“It has been coming from Lisa. You see the quality she has and there are another few players who could have had more but Lisa deserves all the credit in the world for that.
