ETHAN SCHILTE-BROWN hopes a stint in the West of Scotland League will go down as the first step on his path to a World Cup.
The Kilmarnock defender is dreaming of being part of Canada's squad on home soil this summer.
Schilte-Brown represented his country in the 2024 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship, where they reached the quarters, and dubs it an honour every time he plays for Canada.
If he can make Jesse Marsch's squad, it would complete some journey for the 20-year-old stopper who was playing for Cumnock Juniors just three years ago.
Schilte-Brown was sent out on loan to the sixth-tier outfit after he arrived at Rugby Park from Canadian side Halifax Wanderers.
