Erling tops league of England's best paid

A NEW £500,000-a-week contract will see Erling Haaland overtake Manchester City teammate Kevin de Bruyne to become the Premier League's best paid player.

Casemiro is ranked the third highest earner, alongside Mo Salah, while Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling share fifth, according to a survey by French paper L'Equipe.

Haaland, 24, joined City from Borussia Dortmund for £51 million in June 2022 and has gone on to score 119 goals in 137 games.
