Diary of an addict

I WAS given one of Fish with Carl's Fishing Logbooks for Father's Day.

I've never been one for making a diary and recent years I've just used photos from the trip or even Facebook memories as a way to record and remember.

This simple little book reminds me of a school jotter or homework diary with spots for session dates, swim notes, temperatures, catch notes and a space for writing up the session.

It was only right to head out over the weekend and get some fishing done to make the first entry.

It's a very analogue and tactile way of getting your thoughts down and, in theory, giving you some useful information in the future.
