SEAGULL NICKS MAN'S CHIPPY AFTER EPIC TRIP

A FOOD lover who made a seven-hour round trip for a fish supper at a famous chippy told how a sneaky seagull flew off with it before he could take his first bite.

Brad Monaghan, from Glasgow, took two buses to get to the Anstruther Fish Bar in Fife for its renowned haddock and chips.

But just as he sat down outside at the venue to take a picture of his long-awaited lunch, it was snatched and devoured by the greedy bird.

However, the 32-year-old praised the kind takeaway staff who gave him his second meal on the house after he told them about the gull theft.
