FINDLAY CURTIS has praised Russell Martin for letting him off the leash in a dog-eat-dog world.

And the winger insists he'll do whatever it takes to cement his place for Rangers and the Scotland Under-21s.

Curtis hopes to mix it with the best in his age group tomorrow night when the young Scots face Portugal.

He made his 21s bow as Scot Gemmill’s side lost 2-0 on Friday to the Czech Republic in Uherske Hradiste.

Curtis, 18, had to settle for a place on the bench and came on as a second-half sub but could play a major role at Fir Park after an excellent start to the season at Rangers.

Gers boss Martin has put his faith in Curtis and has used him eight times already this season.
