NO DISTRACTIONS Boss Gray needs his players to go full throttle in the league now after Cup exit
DAVID GRAY has hit back at suggestions Hibs have nothing to play for after their Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Dunfermline.
The Easter Road gaffer insists there is no “doom and gloom” at the club and is adamant his players will remain motivated to secure European football.
Hibs crashed out last weekend following a 1-0 defeat to the Championship outfit. And that means the fight for at least fourth is even more important as the Leith outfit chase a return to continental football.
Motherwell occupy that spot - two points better off - and Hibs are desperate to bounce back from their cup collapse when they head to Falkirk today.
Gray said: “We're not in the Scottish Cup now but you can't dwell on that - you can't feel sorry for yourself. You need to move on quickly.
“Football doesn't give you the chance to feel sorry for yourself. And now moving forward there are zero distractions.
“The season is not now finished with nothing to play for.
