Hoops are getting their business done early for a change and it looks like being a mixture of big buys and bargains

IN previous years the transfer window has opened and there's barely been a draught at Celtic Park.

This time there could be such a whoosh of activity it could take the curtains off the walls.

The Hoops have a reputation for being ditherers when it comes to signing new players. The public perception is of humming and hawing and then waiting until the last minute.

Twelve months ago it took an age to snap up Adam Idah and Paulo Bernardo-and those two had already been in the building on loan.

Then they had to wait until the final days of the window before Arne Engels, Auston Trusty and Luke McCowan pitched up at Parkhead.

It might be the way of the footballing world these days but it still drives fans up the wall.
