Brothers in arms

ANOTHER tear-jerking series begins as Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell help two sets of brothers reunite after decades spent apart.
-
Peter Macdonald's whole life changed in an instant when he was snatched from a train at just 10 weeks' old. His mother fled with him and his brother, Trevor, trying to get away from their father, but just as their train for London pulled out of Preston Station, their dad arrived on the platform and grabbed Peter from her arms.
Peter, who was then put in foster care by his father before he was six months old, never saw his mother or brother again after that devastating moment.
The widowed painter and decorator from Lancashire, now 58, says: "I never saw my mother again. That was the last time I was with my brother, Trevor. I've always wanted to find him."
