Band's revival continues as Restless Natives show brings their memories and music old and new to ears of a new generation

Hoffman. Hollywood actor Ned Beatty, best known for Superman and Deliverance, starred alongside newcomers Vincent Friell and Joe Mullaney in the comedy, in which the lads in clown and wolf masks held up tour buses on remote roads with an unexpected twist.

Their heists became so notorious they became desirable, with tourists signing up to experience being robbed by the "wolf man and the clown".

Director Hoffman was a fan of Big Country's first albums and wanted their music for the film's soundtrack.

But record company wrangling meant the band wrote and recorded new tunes which evoked the sound and feel of their previous tunes.
