Amy: I am having a second mastectomy

Strictly dancer says op is not for new cancer

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has announced she is to have another mastectomy within days.

The professional dancer, 35, said yesterday that the surgery was not to treat a new cancer diagnosis, but came after a consultation with her medical team.

Welsh Amy had also revealed at the weekend that she feared the worst as she fought cancer in 2023, before getting the all-clear in February last year.

She gave her health update in a social media post, saying: "I've always been very open about my health and the care I receive.
