Sheriff to investigate tragedy at Gerard's home

THE death of a grandad who waited 40 hours for an ambulance is to be investigated by a sheriff.

Gerard Brown, 65, fell at his Glasgow home, but paramedics only reached him two days later.

By that point the dad of three had died.

Now Scotland's top law officer, Lord Advocate Dorothy Bain KC, has ordered a fatal accident inquiry into his 2021 death.
