Woman and child hurt as 'rollercoaster cart crashed off track at N.Wales funfair'

A WOMAN claims she and her nephew required hospital treatment after a rollercoaster cart they were riding in crashed off the tracks.
Terri Murray, 39, said she was at Knightly's Funfair in Towyn on Saturday afternoon with her niece and nephew when the incident took place.
Terri said she and her 10-year-old nephew went on the Gold Mine Express, a family coaster ride. But while they were on the ride she said there was a “sudden bang” and their carriage came off the tracks, falling around 6ft to the floor.
She said she struck her head on the metal frame and also the floor. Terri said as they fell she tried pull her nephew close to protect him.
