Thaluna looks set to take spot at Newmarket

A FULL-sister to the Group raceplaced Zoology, Thaluna made a promising debut when second at Ascot in September, slightly missing the break but making up sufficient ground to get within a length and a quarter of victory.

Trainer William Haggas then sent her to York for a novice contest earlier this month and Thaluna duly opened her account with the minimum of fuss, prevailing by a comfortable length over six furlongs.
While she looks as though she will thrive over further next term, she clearly has the necessary pace at sprint trips this term and is on the improve.
Parisiac is the pick in the 156 Grosser Preis Von Baden Handicap.
