Tesco delivery van driver is arrested after fatal crash

A WOMAN pedestrian has died after she was truck by a Tesco delivery van, police have confirmed.
A section of Garth Road was closed yesterday (Monday, September 29) after the lunchtime collision in Garth Hill, Bangor
Among the emergency services attending the incident was a Wales Air Ambulance from Caernarfon, which landed near the promenade.
North Wales Police said that, despite their best efforts, the elderly pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
