Tandy tells players to be ready for 'journey ahead'

STEVE Tandy has challenged his Wales squad to think about how they can ‘become the nation we want to be’ ahead of the upcoming autumn campaign.

Wales get the Tandy era under way by facing Argentina at the Principality Stadium on November 9, with the Welshman hoping to steer Welsh rugby towards calmer waters after a turbulent couple of years. Tandy will name his team to face the Pumas later this week, but has already brought the wider squad together ahead of the upcoming schedule, bringing six uncapped players into the camp, along with the recalled Rhys Carre.
