SIR CHRIS Hoy demonstrated his remarkable cycling prowess, leaving Gethin Jones and his pals in awe during an "epic day" out in North Wales.

The six-time Olympic champion, diagnosed with cancer in September 2023, went public in October stating that he was facing a terminal condition. A series of scans revealed primary cancer in his prostate which had sadly spread to bones in his shoulder, pelvis, ribs, and spine.

Doctors have predicted he has between two and four years to live.

Despite the grim diagnosis, Hoy hasn't allowed it to impede him; instead, he's embracing new challenges and striving to enjoy life with his loved ones at full throttle.

On Wednesday, the sports icon at 49-years-old traded the smooth track for rugged terrain as he joined mates for a thrilling mountain biking experience at One Planet Adventure in Llandegla, Denbighshire, reports Wales Online.

In the company of Morning Live host Gethin Jones, broadcaster OJ Borg, and former Olympian cyclists Philip Hindes and Rob Hayles, they navigated the demanding mountain trails.
