But The Pavilion - formerly the Royal - closed in the summer of 2022, much to the disappointment of its clientele.

It has lain empty since then - its windows covered by steel shutters.

But pub group Stonegate has announced it is to be transformed. They are now looking for a tenant to take on the site once the building is restored to its former glory.

They said: “An incredible opportunity has arrived to take on The Pavilion - a beautifully reimagined pub in the heart of Colwyn Bay. Currently undergoing significant investment, The Pavilion is set to become the go-to venue for locals, tourists, families, and sports lovers alike.
