Coleman aims to guide club into new era after signing deal
SEAMUS COLEMAN has signed a new deal that will keep him at Everton for a further 12 months.
The club captain will extend his stay on Merseyside to a 17th season and the 36-year-old said: "I love Everton, so to continue playing for this special club means everything to me and my family."
Manager David Moyes, who signed the right-back from Sligo Rovers for just £60,000 in his first stint in the Everton dugout, had made clear he wanted Coleman to remain part of his dressing room set-up heading into a new era at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
