Route to busy retail park changing in trial to ease high street traffic

ROAD chiefs want to trial a new way of entering one of the region's most popular retail parks.

Parc Prestatyn was opened in 2013 and includes retailers Tesco Extra, Marks & Spencer and TK Maxx. It has two entrances and exits but most traffic from the centre of the town is directed towards the gateway off the high street.
Denbighshire council has £3m from UK Government to spend on improving the town centre and as part of this it is looking at redirecting that traffic to ease congestion on the high street.
A seven-day trial will start today.
