Police defend 'use of force' as 'jab towards fans' caught on camera

POLICE say the "use of force was appropriate" after an officer was seen on camera delivering a "punch" as officers herded Millwall fans through Wrexham city centre.
The south London team travelled to North Wales for the Championship match against Wrexham AFC on Saturday afternoon.
It saw a heavy police presence due to the club's fans' notorious reputation.
A large number of officers was used to take a group of supporters to the Racecourse in a bid to keep rival fans apart.
