Party of four became stuck

CLIMBERS went to the aid of a walker who suffered a serious injury in Eryri, then they had to be rescued themselves.
The injured climber suffered a suspected broken ankle during the incident on Tryfan during Monday last week and had to be winched aboard a Coastguard helicopter to be flown for treatment.
However the four climbers, who had stopped to help, then found themselves stuck in steep terrain as dark descended while searching for a path.
An Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation spokesperson said: “A lead climber took a fall on pitch 2 of Grooved Arete and suffered a suspected fractured ankle.
