NEW TAX ZONE ANNOUNCED ON ANGLESEY

It is the third site on the island that will get tax breaks

ANGLESEY Freeport, a partnership between the Isle of Anglesey Council (IACC) and Stena Line, has announced that the North Anglesey Tax Site has become the latest tax site to receive formal tax site designation on the Island.

The North Anglesey Tax Site includes Rhosgoch, the former Shell Oil depot, and the Octel site, a former bromine chemical factory.

With the tax site designation now achieved the sites will be viable for Freeport investment, with new businesses able to benefit from the Freeport's special tax initiatives, helping drive forward growth and job creation in the north of the Island.
