Much-loved toy shop to shut after 25 years

A WELL-known toy shop on Conwy high street is to close later this month.

Yesteryears (pictured) has been a retail institution in the town for 25 years.

Georgina and Mike Pattinson started up the store back in 2000 and since then thousands of children and their families have passed through the shop.

In recent years it was taken on by Zoe Toffrey and has continued to thrive on the popular high street.

But Zoe says she had been unable to get “clarity” about the future of the premises where they are based. She said this has led to the plan to now close.
