Man left partner 'bleeding heavily' then injured police who went to arrest him

A MAN has been jailed after wounding his partner and assaulting two police officers. The officers had to use Captor spray to get James McLoughlin under control.
A court heard the incident happened after police were called to a property in Llandudno Junction in April.
McLoughlin, of Queens Road, Llandudno Junction, admitted causing grievous bodily harm without intent to Tammy Mason, assaulting two emergency workers and breaching a court order.
Yesterday, a judge at Mold Crown Court jailed the 31-year-old for a total of 24 months.
The court heard a Tammy Mason had received a facial wound. Its origin was not known.
McLoughlin had been made subject to a Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) with conditions including not to go within 100m of Ms Mason's home.
