Man 'approached child' outside primary school

POLICE are investigating after reports a child was approached outside a primary school yesterday.

The incident happened near Victoria CP School in Wrexham.

A parent said a white man in his 30s approached a child on the street between a Premier Stores and a car park by the school.

North Wales Police are looking into the incident and stepping up patrols around the school.

A police spokesperson said: “We are investigating a report of a man behaving suspiciously outside a school in Wrexham.
